A frequent request from our local customers, the Yellow Rose IPA is a popular Texas single malt and single hop (SMaSH) Mosaic IPA.

Don't let simplicity fool you - this recipe is anything but boring! Our Yellow Rose Clone contains a clean malt flavor from a rich German malt along side a complex hop flavor and aroma from one our favorite new hop varieties. This combination provides an IPA that has strong notes grapefruit along with hints of pineapple and blueberry, and has a color that is deceptively light and is extremely drinkable. The tantalizing flavors and light body disguise the fact that this easy drinker is over 7% ABV!

Due to the high percentage of pilsner malt, a 90-minute boil time is recommended. Adjust your boil volume as needed to achieve 5.25 in the fermenter.

All orders containing Liquid Yeast will be shipped with a complimentary ice pack to ensure safe shipping!

    Good as it Gets

Posted by David B. on Jun 22nd 2018

This beer kit is as good as it gets folks. Homebrewsupply has been bedy bedy good to me. Recipes have been excellent and kept me from going elsewhere for kits. This mosaic is very close to the clone target but listen, the simple fact is that when you brew your own beer its always a treat to savor, especially this SMASH! Go Texas!
