A frequent request from our local customers, the Yellow Rose IPA is a popular Texas single malt and single hop (SMaSH) Mosaic IPA.

Don't let simplicity fool you - this recipe is anything but boring! Our Yellow Rose Clone contains a clean malt flavor from a rich German malt along side a complex hop flavor and aroma from one our favorite new hop varieties. This combination provides an IPA that has strong notes grapefruit along with hints of pineapple and blueberry, and has a color that is deceptively light and is extremely drinkable. The tantalizing flavors and light body disguise the fact that this easy drinker is over 7% ABV!

Due to the high percentage of pilsner malt, a 90-minute boil time is recommended. Adjust your boil volume as needed to achieve 5.25 in the fermenter.

All orders containing Liquid Yeast will be shipped with a complimentary ice pack to ensure safe shipping!

    Great beer

Posted by Jason on Dec 11th 2019

Enjoyed this beer while living in Magnolia. Had to move and have not been able to find similar beer on the market. While this recipe doesn’t get exactly to the taste of a yellow rose it is definitely a great beer and the mosaic hops are delightful. This is a recipe that I include as part of my normal brewing collection.
