Returns Policy

We want you to feel confident with your purchase so within 30 days of purchase we offer a simple, easy return policy.


We offer a full refund on un-used returns minus the actual cost of return shipping and the re-stocking fee if applicable.


If you need to start a return please email us at with your order number, name, explanation of issue or reason for return and provide any pictures if applicable. 


  • Beer Recipe Kit Guarantee

    We are so confident in our award winning beer recipe kits that if you brew one and don't like it, we will replace it.
  • Yeast

    We always recommend you do a yeast starter. We will gladly replace yeast if it's not viable but will not replace a beer recipe if it doesn't ferment.
  • What items can be returned?

    We will accept all non-perishable items back.
  • Can I return used equipment?

    We only stock quality equipment from the most trusted brands but If you are not fully satisfied with your equipment after using it we can offer you to the ability to return with a 30% restocking fee.
  • Brew Systems

    We do not accept any returns on large or custom order brew systems such as the Spike Electric system, Sabco, Breweasy and other systems.

If an order has not shipped by the time we make contact, we can cancel the order and issue a full refund. If your order has already shipped we cannot recall it. It will be delivered and handled as a Order Return as outlined in our Return Policy.



Due to an unprecedented increase in orders we are temporarily suspending our same day shipping policy.  However, we have brought in additional help and we are still getting orders out rapidly.  At the moment we are getting the majority of orders out within one to two business days of receiving the order.  At this point we are able to maintain a decent inventory, but we may contact you if we need to substitute an ingredient.  Our staff is working overtime and doing everything in our power to get supplies out to our customers so they can continue to brew. We are also trying to keep our priced as low as possible during this time to assist customers that might be experiencing cutbacks in hours at work.  We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service, but please patient if it takes us a little longer to get back to you."

  • Same Day Shipping

    All orders received by 11am CST will be shipped same day, Mon- Fri.

    On some events such as site-wide sales or various promotions there may be a delay on typical shipping turnaround. During this time we make every effort to ship as soon as possible.

    Some large items we stock ship from a separate warehouse, so in some rare cases same-day shipping might not apply. We'll tell you when that's the case.

  • Flat Rate & Free Shipping

    Some items on Homebrew Supply receive $8.99 flat-rate or free shipping year round or during our flat rate shipping promotional periods. However, these only apply to the continental US (Sorry Alaska, Hawaii, and territories), we also do not ship free or flat-rate to PO Boxes.

  • Delivery

    We ship most orders FedEx or USPS with transit times being around 1 - 4 business days depending on where we’re delivering.

    We ship from just North of Austin, Texas so orders in the Northwest can expect longer lead times.

  • Military addresses

    If your order needs to be shipped to an APO address, your best bet is to call us @ 1-866-936-8582 and let us help you place your order and ensure you receive the best possible shipping rates available to us .

  • Liquid yeast

    We ship all liquid yeast with complimentary ice packets.

    Because we want your yeast to reach you alive we do not ship yeast on Fridays to avoid a longer transit time. BUT if you’re in a rush, just drop us a line.

  • Lost or Stolen Packages

    Missing packages aren't awesome, but things do happen on rare occasion.

    First, be sure to confirm your shipping address, look for a delivery confirmation, and check with neighbors to see if they possibly accepted your package.

    If your package is a no-show 36 hours from delivery date please contact us.

    Lost packages we will help resolve as we have recourse with FedEX and USPS.

    Stolen packages we cannot replace unless you select Signature delivery.

  • Alaska & Hawaii

    Free shipping, flat-rate shipping and any shipping specials do not apply to AK and HI.
