"Oh Grandmother, what dank hops you have!"
One of the newest beer styles is a Red IPA. It takes the best of the west coast hoppy red and American ambers but increases the hopping and alcohol levels to IPA strength. The result is a hoppy, bitter, and moderately strong beer like an American IPA, but with some caramel and toffee malt character with a distinct red color like an American amber. A Red IPA is a little more flavorful and malty than an American IPA without being sweet or heavy like an Irish Red.
A unique feature of our version is that it utilizes the technique called hopbursting that is, adding all of the hops late in the boil to provide huge hop flavor and aroma that can't be beat. This technique gives our Red IPA a fresh hop punch that blends well with the malt bill while still retaining a strong bitterness.

This was my first time trying to home brew. I just bottled the beer today after letting it ferment for 2 weeks ( I could have probably ended a couple days earlier if I was not out of town). I had a sample today and it has a pleasant taste that is nice and hoppy but still refreshing. I’m excited to see what it’s like after carbonation. I followed the directions as close as I could using biab method and found that it was super easy. I would definitely like to try it again because it was so easy.
The only issue u have is that I bought the kit for extract brewing and the recipe is all grain. This wasn't made very clear in the description. Unfortunately the all grain recipe needs a kettle much larger than the one provided in the kit so I had to cut the recipe in half. However, further research on my part may have been beneficial and possibly prevented this as well. Everything arrived quickly, my concerns were handled very well by customer service, and ultimately I am still able to brew. I am looking forward to the final product.
Wonderful brew, during the mash out the aroma of the grain was amazing. Very easy brew, will most definitely buy again.
I've been brewing for 10 years now and this is the best turn-key kit I've ever brewed. Usually I don't buy kits, but if you love IPAs, you need to buy this! This kit earns an A+.
