Our original Pumpkin Ale recipe is a great beer for the holiday season, and features a mix of light dry malt extract along with caramel and victory malts and includes the pumpkin spice you'll need for this batch. You'll end up with a pronounced pumpkin flavor and a crisp, clean finish.
This is a homebrewers "go to" when the fall comes around, and we recommend trying it out and save some to share some with your friends and family over the holiday season.
*See below for further instruction on using a real pumpkin instead of the included pumpkin spice.
All orders containing Liquid Yeast will be shipped with a complimentary ice pack to ensure safe shipping!
During the recent "pumpkin spice craze", Pumpkin Ales rose to popularity with the masses during the fall months and holiday season. They can be brewed as pale ales, wheat beers, porters or stouts. Many recipes, such as ours, use pumpkin spice, but a lot of folks like to make theirs using real pumpkin as well which we highly recommend. It's the perfect beer for the holiday season.

Brewed this up last year and it was a hit with my friends. Would recommend if you like pumpkin spice brews
This recipe was easy to follow, and made a smooth tasting, and flavorful pumpkin ale. I was extremely please with how this ale came out, it was perfect for falls.
I got my ingredients quick. The instructions were simple enough to follow. So far, so good. I took a little sip of the brew while transferring it from the primary to the secondary fermenter, and it tasted fine. Can't wait to bottle and drink it.
The kit shipped out quickly. Very easy instructions. It is brewing as I write this. I have tried to make pumpkin ale before. This one looks and smells great in the carboy. Can't wait to bottle it and drink it.
