The idea behind this recipe came from our Chief Keg Washer and fearless leader Todd Burns who had a similar beer on his travels and came home to tell us of his experiences! This classic Pilsner style beer showcases the Lemondrop hops to provide some nice crisp citrus notes while not being overbearing and taking over the recipe. The lemon will be subtle, but the beer overall will not let you down and will provide you with a clean, crisp easy to drink lager.
This is a Pilsner or Lager vs and Ale, so you will need fermentation temperature control to get the proper results. We recommend fermenting around 55 F before the diacetyl rest.
