The Festbier is commonly served at Munich's Oktoberfest and is similar to the traditional Oktoberfest style, but certainly not the same. It justifies a style all to itself and presents a lighter colored and less alcoholic version of the Oktoberfest. This Festbier recipe incorporates Pilsen malt, Munich malt, and Vienna malt to provide a wonderfully sessionable beer with mild toasty biscuit flavors.
