I recently used this extract as the base for an Irish Red recipe. It's a really good foundation to build on when putting together a recipe. When you use a very light base like this it gives you more control over the color and residual sweetness of your beer. When you start with something this light you have a better idea of how the recupe will be effected by the adjuncts/caramels/roasts that you use. I don't have anything bad to say about this extract. I'm very happy with it.
