Our American Brown Ale is a in here work mouth-watering beer with notes of chocolate, caramel, and toasted goodness. This version uses a mix of Crystal and Magnum hops giving it a subtle, yet complex flavor profile.
To further enhance your malt profile and allow your hops to really come through, we recommend using Denny's Favorite (Wyeast 1450), but S-05 or White Labs' WLP001 are also both great choices for this recipe.
Coke, Bald Eagles and Elvis; This beer is about as American as it gets.
All orders containing Liquid Yeast will be shipped with a complimentary ice pack to ensure safe shipping!

The American Brown Ale was the American take on the popular English Brown Ale that came to prominence in the brewing seen in the 1980s. They have a higher alcohol content, hoppier flavor, and are also a bit more bitter and dry than it's English relative. A delicious beer with a medium body and brown color.

This was a favorite of my friends! Extremely quaffable. I will brew this one again, especially in the fall. I used Denny’s Favorite (Wyeast 1450) as recommended and it did not disappoint.
