The 15 Gallon AMCYL Brew Kettle is full of features at a price that will not break the bank.  It is perfect for brewing all grain and extract homebrew in 10 to 12 gallon batches.  This kettle is constructed of 18 gauge, 304 stainless steel as the main vessel and also has a tri-clad bottom that provides superior heat distribution and prevents you from scorching your grains.  You can use a variety of accessories with this kettle, including thermometers in both 6" and 2" (it has a pre-drilled port), bazooka screen (we have one available that mounts directly to inside shank of the kettle valve) and others.

You just need to install the 3 part valve in the bottom port (included) and either a plug (included) or a thermometer in the upper port.  See easy to follow instructions here.    In addition:

    Upgrade

Posted by Todd J on Jan 9th 2017

Got this AMCYL 15gal to use a new boil kettle replacing an 8 gal pot which I now use as the HLT. Good quality pot and GREAT bang for your buck. Comes with the lid and nice 3 pc valve. I setup an upper valve where the plug is with a 90 on the inside and I use it to whirlpool with a pump. The volume etching is a valuable tool as well. Doing 10 gallon batches with ease. Going to get another one and use it for my HLT (volume etching really comes in handy) in the near future.

    Amcyl 15gal kettle

The kettle is very nice quality, but the ball valve doesn't have internal threads for the inside of the kettle side and the o-rings like to bind up when tightening and you can't get a good seal. The Thermometer also leaked no matter how I tightened it. (1 drip every 5 seconds)

Awesome kettle! I can already tell that it's sturdy and will be able to handle rigorous brew days.
