Imperial's Tartan strain is commonly used in Scottish ales due to its ability to accentuate malt characteristics, but it can also be used in IPA's to produce a clean yeast profile. To accomplish a higher ester profile ferment the yeast at the upper end of the temperature range.

    You make the yeast cells happy the yeast cells will make you happy. Used this in a wee heavy with great results
