Imperial's Pub strain is great for achieving very bright ales in a short amount of time since it has such high flocculation and eats through the fermentation stage before quickly dropping out. It does product high levels of esters, so a diacetyl rest is recommended. This strain is most commonly used for ESB's and other Bitter ales.
